Donato's Pizza

The Fri. night pizza ritual took look at Donatos pizza. We received some coupons earlier in the week for Donato's pizza and decided to give them the test! We used a coupons that included a large pizza with 1 topping and an 8 piece chicken strip. The pizza was great, we ordered the original Donatos pizza crust (thin). We ordered 1/2 sausage & 1/2 black olive. We received 1/2 pepperoni & 1/2 black olive. So I guess if there was a negative, then not getting the right topping on one side was it. On the plus side, I have always like Donato's pizza pepperoni. They are smaller and crunchier than the regular pepperoni that we are all used to. Over all, the pizza was great! Supurb topping distribution and bake. The cutting needs some work as most of the pieces were not cut all the way through the pizza. The chicken strips weren't to bad, I personally am not a fan of any chicken strips that are baked. Yes, they are probably healthier than fried, but they just don't taste the same. They were cooked fine, but they were a little soggy. This is due to the fact that they are placed in a box and put under the heat lamp until picked-up. When we ordered, they said it would be ready in 15 minutes and we got there in 20. So everything was ready to go! Over all, a great experience from Donato's Pizza!
