Papa Johns Whole Wheat Pizza Special

The new Papa Johns pizza special for the Whole Wheat pizza crust hit our taste bud's today. The pizza special is a Whole Wheat pizza with 3 toppings for $11.99. This was our first time tasting a pizza made with whole wheat. The taste is distinctly a different taste, was it bad? Over all, the taste wasn't bad, personally I don't know if it is something I would order all the time. It could be more of an acquired taste?

Our Whole Wheat pizza was ordered with 1/2 pepperoni, salami, and black olives and the other 1/2 with pepperoni, ham, & onions. The pizza had a nice bake to it and the toppings were plentiful. I think it is a go to test one out, who knows you may like the taste of a whole wheat pizza if you have never had one before? Will we order another? Probably give it another shot down the road, it's just not something we would like on  a regular basis.
