Sometimes you just have to love getting pizza coupons in the mail! Today we got a "We miss you" pizza coupon from Marcos Pizza, so of course we had to take advantage of it. The pizza coupon was good for a large pizza with 3 toppings for $7.99. What a deal! So we ordered a pizza with 1/2 pepperoni, black olives, and feta cheese. The other 1/2 of the pizza consisted of pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms. The pizza was decent, toppings were plentiful and the bake was good.

Our ordering experience on the other hand wasn't very decent. When we called, they must have been having a busy spurt? They answered the phone and said what they had to say and then slammed the phone down on the counter. Marco's pizza doesn't have a hold button so they just put the phone down on the counter until there is somebody that is able to take the order. They never had the hold button years ago when I worked there and they still haven't splurged the extra few bucks to get one. At any rate when our order was being taken, it was rushed. Then at the end of the call, we were asking for the total price and we were just hung up on. Not a very good example of customer service! We know there are busy times but if customers get treated that way all the time, those busy times are going to become far and few between!
