Fox's Pizza Den Pizza Special

It was time for a small road trip to try out the winner of the "PIE" Award for 2007. When we arrived, we were greeted with numerous pizza specials. We opted for the Two For Tuesday pizza special. This included 2 medium 1 topping pizzas for $9.99. Now from what I understand, Fox's Pizza Den's are franchised out and they are able to run their own pizza specials, so if you have one near you they may not have the same special.

On our first pizza, we order 1/2 pepperoni and the other 1/2 black olive. The pizza had a nice bake to it and was topped pretty nicely. Fox's Pizza Den uses 100% Real Mozzarella Cheese, with no preservatives added and you can tell when that cheese hits your taste bud's!

The pizza dough from Fox's Pizza Den, also had a great taste to it. As you can see from the picture, it isn't to think or to thin. Even the crust of the pizza was good, it had a nice chewiness to it. 

For our second pizza, we ordered a 1/2 onion and the other 1/2 sausage. It was so nice to have ground sausage for a change. Most pizza shops now a days use the little sausage balls, that seems to never give a full flavor over the whole slice of pizza. Again, the bake was great and toppings were plentiful.

Overall the experience was good! Nice friendly workers, the service was fast, and the pizza was a definite hit. It's no wonder they were awarded the "PIE" award for the second time in their history. If you can locate a Fox's Pizza Den near you, I suggest stopping by and giving them a try!
